Annual Hanoimoi Run for Peace attracts 1,200 participants

The 43rd Hanoimoi newspaper Run for Peace took place around Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi on the morning of October 9, drawing the participation of 1,200 runners. The event was part of Hanoi’s key activities to celebrate 71 years of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2); 62 years of liberation of the capital and 17 years of Hanoi being recognised as a city for peace by UNESCO.

This year’s run attracted a lot of foreign students living and studying in Hanoi.
