The athletes are competing in futsal and free-style combat dance till April 13 at the Hanoi University of Technology’s stadium in Hanoi and the Tan Binh gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City.
The games’ prizes are worth a total of over VND400 million (US$18,800).
The Fund for Supporting and Developing Vietnamese Students plans to grant 102 one-million-VND scholarships to athletes who have achieved outstanding results in study, sports and social activities.
The VUG is organised by the Vietnam Student Association and the Sai Gon Entertainment and Sports Promotion Com. Ltd., with the sponsor of the grand Isotonic 7Up Revite.
