The Embraer aircraft took off from Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of April 20 and arrived in Ca Mau Airport at around 11am on the same day.

Bamboo Airways plans to formally launch a direct Hanoi-Ca Mau route on April 29.

According to Ca Mau Vice Chairman Lam Van Bi, the new route will play a significant role in promoting investment, tourism, and trade by reducing travel time between the capital city and the southernmost province.

Bamboo Airways plans to operate three round-trip flights per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The flights from Hanoi are expected to depart at 7:05 am while the flights departing from Ca Mau will be scheduled for 9:55 am.
