International media have continued to underscore the success of the Congress, while highlighting Viet Nam’s rising standing as well as its strong development momentum across multiple fields.

Juan Meriguet, leader of the Somos Patria Platform in Ecuador, highlighted Viet Nam and its communist party as a source of inspiration for progressive movements worldwide in an interview granted to Viet Nam News Agency on the occasion of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV).

The Chinese scholar said that as Viet Nam moves from a “new era” in its national history into a “new era” of the times, the Party Central Committee, under the leadership of General Secretary To Lam, must outline a clear development roadmap to realise the two centenary goals and steadily advance national modernisation.

 Ahead of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV), Assaf Talgam, a historian and a journalist of Zo HaDerekh, the official newspaper of the Communist Party of Israel, shared his assessments of the CPV’s leadership role, the significance of the upcoming congress, and the opportunities and challenges facing Viet Nam amid increasingly complex regional and global developments.
