While visiting the base of Viet Nam’s Engineering Unit Rotation 4 on November 13, Abyei’s Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Public Utilities Kon Maneit Matiok expressed his appreciation for the Vietnamese peacekeeping force’s contributions to the local community.

Viet Nam’s Engineering Unit Rotation 4 departed Ha Noi on September 26 for the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA).

The Ministry of National Defence held a ceremony in Ha Noi on July 22 to present decisions of the State President and the Minister of National Defence to three officers who are about to depart for duties at the United Nations (UN) peacekeeping mission in Abyei.

On the occasion of World Environment Day (June 5), Viet Nam’s Engineering Unit Rotation 3 at the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) actively participated in a series of practical activities to raise awareness of environmental protection and promote the message of green and sustainable living within their base and the local community.
