Viet Nam’s most recent success in athletics came with a silver and a bronze medal at the 2025 Asian Athletics Championships, which concluded in the Republic of Korea on May 31. However, to achieve sustainable development and rise to the continental and global level, the entire athletics system needs a thorough and well-planned reform.
