The 19th Spring Blood Donation Festival 2026, themed “Donate blood at the start of spring – Multiply happiness”, has officially opened in Ha Noi, aiming to collect 10,000 units of blood over 10 consecutive days from February 27 to March 8.

The Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City joined hands with the Vietnamese Red Cross Society (VRCS)’s HCM City chapter and the Red Journey Programme to launch a humanitarian blood donation drive on July 20.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan hosted a meeting in Ha Noi with a delegation of 100 outstanding voluntary blood donors from across the country in 2025.

The entire nation mobilised and collected more than 1.43 million blood units in 2022, reaching 106% of the planned target and meeting the blood demand for medical emergencies and treatment.
