With the efforts of the entire political system and the active participation of the people, during the past term, Lang Son Province achieved and exceeded 18 out of 20 key targets set. In 2025 alone, the province’s GRDP reached 8.06%, ranking 3rd out of 9 provinces in the northern midland and mountainous region.

Stretching across more than 40 kilometres of border with Laos, ten hamlets in three communes of Moc Chau Town (Son La Province) were once socio-economic “black holes” plagued by poverty, isolation, and drug-related problems infiltrating almost every household.

Nearly 800 teenagers and children from Huong Viet and Huong Lap communes, in Huong Hoa district and from Seponh district, Savannakhet province, Laos, enjoyed the Mid-Autumn Festival on August 3.
