The Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with the People's Committee of Ia Dom Commune in Gia Lai Province, organised a ceremony on August 3 to hand over a "Friendship House" and deliver livelihood support to residents of twinned communities along the Viet Nam–Cambodia border.

The Viet Nam Border Guard Command has been awarded the first-class Feat of Arms Order in recognition of its outstanding performance in crime prevention and control, particularly during the peak period surrounding the Lunar New Year 2026.
