The Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei organised a series of events to introduce Vietnamese Tet customs and promote the Vietnamese language and traditional handicrafts on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.

Brunei Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah departed Ha Noi on December 2, concluding his three-day state visit to Viet Nam at the invitation of State President Luong Cuong.

State President Luong Cuong on December 1 hosted a state banquet in honour of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and the high-ranking delegation of Brunei on their state visit to Viet Nam from November 30 to December 2. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was also in attendance.

President Luong Cuong hosted an official welcome ceremony and held talks with Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, who is paying a State visit to Viet Nam from January 30 to December 2, at the Presidential Palace on December 1.
