The activities were organised in coordination with Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Veterans Association.

As part of the programme, students from UBD took part in decorating apricot blossom and peach blossom motifs, as well as traditional Vietnamese New Year landscapes, under the guidance of embassy officials and members of the local Vietnamese community.

Some students creatively combined distinctive Bruneian traditional woven motifs with Vietnamese cultural and handicraft products, thereby highlighting the spirit of cultural exchange.

Dr Tran Trong Nghia, a Vietnamese language lecturer at UBD, noted that the integration of teaching activities with the exploration of Vietnamese culture had received a positive response from students and young people in Brunei.

The cultural experience events provided opportunities for Bruneian students to engage directly with Vietnamese cultural values and people, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of Viet Nam.

Major Hajah Rosnani, Secretary-General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Veterans Association, expressed her appreciation for the cultural promotion activities between Viet Nam and Brunei, particularly the emphasis on shared values between the peoples of the two countries.

She expressed her hope that the Embassy and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Veterans Association would continue to work together in organising cultural exchange activities.

Expressing her delight at participating in the event, Nur Dalilah Wee binti Abdullah, a student currently studying Vietnamese at UBD, shared that taking part in the cultural promotion activities had provided her with new knowledge and additional inspiration.
