From September 11 to 13, the exhibition booth organised by Nhan Dan Newspaper at the 91st L’Humanité Festival vividly recreated the journey of the great President Ho Chi Minh in seeking a path to national salvation and introduced Viet Nam in the new era, becoming a highlight that attracted large numbers of international friends and overseas Vietnamese.
Priceless documents and images about President Ho Chi Minh - compiled by Nhan Dan Newspaper and the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace - were solemnly displayed, recreating historical milestones in President Ho Chi Minh’s life, from the time he left the country to seek a path to national salvation over the course of 30 years until his return to the homeland to lead the people to victory in the August Revolution in 1945, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Viet Nam. The exhibition space also expressed gratitude for the enduring bonds and steadfast affection that progressive French people had shown towards Viet Nam through many periods of the struggle for national liberation.

The family of Raymonde Dien (1929-2022) - a member of the French Communist Party and a symbol of the spirit of opposition to the unjust war waged by French colonialists in Viet Nam - was deeply moved when viewing images of Raymonde Dien meeting President Ho Chi Minh, a leader admired and respected by progressive people around the world.International friends showed great interest in the strong changes Viet Nam has undergone in recent years. The exhibition space on the 14th National Party Congress introduced the centenary goals: becoming a country with modern industry by 2030 and a developed, high-income nation by 2045, achieving deep international integration and sustainable development in the new era.Visitors were deeply impressed by images of a beautiful, safe and vibrant Viet Nam, dynamic in international integration and steadfast on the path of sustainable development, while affirming the position of Viet Nam as a friend and a reliable partner of the international community. Many international friends were astonished by the remarkable advances made by Viet Nam’s economy and infrastructure today.Counsellor Pham Quang Anh of the Embassy of Viet Nam in France introduces the book “Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh with France” (published by the News Publishing House and the Presidential Palace Relic Site) to Lao Ambassador to France Kalamoungkhoune Souphanouvong. Ambassador Kalamoungkhoune Souphanouvong expressed his confidence that Viet Nam would achieve strong and comprehensive development in the coming period.
