Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU), with the support of the Russian House in Viet Nam, has formally opened registration for the large-scale international project “Russian Language in Viet Nam: Dialogue between Cultures”.
The programme comprises a series of teaching, cultural-educational, and methodological activities curated by leading lecturers and experts from MSLU.
The project aims to enhance the professional qualifications and pedagogical skills of Russian language teachers in Viet Nam, forge stronger links among the community of Russian language scholars, promote the Russian language, and foster interest in Russian culture, education, and science in Viet Nam.
The activities under the project will be conducted in-person. Registration will be processed on-site before the events begin. In particular, participation in all project activities is completely free of charge.
The face-to-face activities will be convened at educational institutions in Ha Noi (October 6–7), northern provinces (October 8–9), Da Nang (October 12), Hue (October 13), and Ho Chi Minh City (October 15–16).
The project extends a warm welcome to Russian language specialists, including those in Russian as a foreign language, Russian literature, translation theory and practice, as well as university lecturers, school teachers, researchers, translators, and interpreters. It also facilitates an opportunity for Vietnamese pupils and students studying Russian at schools and higher education institutions to participate.
The programme has been designed to meet practical needs in Viet Nam and incorporates diverse clusters of professional activities.
