On the occasion of 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (July 1, 1921 – July 1, 2026), the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) sent a congratulatory message to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

While leading an inter-agency delegation comprising representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Viet Nam Lawyers Association, and the Ministry of Public Security to attend the 14th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum in St. Petersburg, Russia, on June 24, Vietnamese Minister of Justice Hoang Thanh Tung held meetings and exchanges with President of the Supreme People’s Court of Cuba Oscar Manuel Silvera Martinez and Chinese Vice-Minister of Justice Li Mingzheng.

Authorities of the northern province of Lang Son and Pingxiang city in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China held talks on May 15 at Tan Thanh (Viet Nam) – Po Chai (China) clearance point near markers 1090–1091 in Hoang Van Thu commune of Lang Son to promote trade, develop smart border gates and expand cross-border tourism cooperation.

Officials from Cao Bang province of Viet Nam and Baise city in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China held talks on May 15 to advance comprehensive cooperation across sectors, with a focus on border trade, health care, education and infrastructure connectivity.

Viet Nam requests China to respect its sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) in accordance with international law, as well as Viet Nam’s sovereignty, sovereign rights, and jurisdiction over its maritime zones established in line with the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.

He also thanked the authorities and people of Guangxi for preserving the Yucai School relic and other historical sites associated with President Ho Chi Minh, turning them into “red addresses” symbolising the enduring ties between the two nations.

The State visit to China by Party General Secretary and State President To Lam was a great success, positively contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship and accelerating the building of the Viet Nam–China community with a shared future that carries strategic significance, thus promoting peace, stability, development, and prosperity in the region and the world.

The China–ASEAN AI Application Cooperation Centre, jointly established by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and ASEAN countries, aims to promote inclusive and mutually beneficial development of AI globally. It is regarded as a flagship project in advancing the “Digital Silk Road” initiative in Nanning.

Politburo member and Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc on April 15 paid a working visit to Zhongguancun Science Park in Beijing while accompanying General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee and State President To Lam, his spouse, and a high-level Vietnamese delegation on a state visit to China.
