The Government of Ireland has announced funding of 1.4 million EUR to strengthen climate resilience and empower ethnic minority women in 13 communes across Tuyen Quang, Quang Tri, and Phu Tho provinces.

The Viet Nam Disaster and Dyke Management Authority under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in collaboration with the Dutch Embassy in Viet Nam, organised a technical seminar on innovations in flood control and climate resilience on October 23, in Ho Chi Minh City.

With total investment exceeding 8.5 trillion VND (325.3 million USD), the Mekong Delta Integrated Climate Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Project (ICRSL or WB9) has helped improve climate resilience and sustainable livelihoods for nearly 2 million people in the region, 49% of them women, heard a workshop in Can Tho city on June 20.
