PM orders boosting housing supply, cutting prices, stabilising property market

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued an official dispatch on October 7, directing ministers, heads of ministry-level and Government agencies, and chairpersons of provincial and municipal People’s Committees to resolutely implement measures to increase housing and real estate supply, reduce prices, and stabilise the market.

Global gold prices on October 8 continued to surge, officially surpassing the 4,000 USD per ounce mark. Following the skyrocketing global trend, domestic gold prices have been rising by the hour. On the afternoon of October 8, SJC gold bars jumped to 142.5 million VND per tael, up 1.9 million VND compared to the previous session’s close. SJC gold rings were sold at 139.5 million VND per tael, an increase of 1.8 million VND from the previous session.
