Vietnamese President Luong Cuong’s state visit to Egypt from August 3 to 6 holds strategic significance and is expected to exert a lasting impact on the advancement of bilateral relations, as both nations embark on a new era of growth and development, according to Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Nguyen Huy Dung.

State President Luong Cuong and his spouse will lead a high-ranking delegation of Viet Nam to pay state visits to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Republic of Angola from August 3-9.

Viet Nam and Egypt should continue their coordination and mutual support at multilateral and international forums, in line with each country’s interests and in respect for international law, recommended State President Luong Cuong while receiving outgoing Egyptian Ambassador Amal Abdel Kader Elmorsi Salama in Ha Noi on July 1.
