The Vietnamese State and people have decided to provide emergency humanitarian aid of 100,000 USD to the Colombian Government and people to help them overcome the consequences of the natural disaster and soon stabilise the lives of affected communities.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) on December 5 announced an emergency international assistance package worth 2 million USD to help address the severe impacts of recent flooding in central Viet Nam.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc has freshly signed a decision approving an emergency allocation of 80 billion VND (3.04 million USD) to the central provinces of Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak to help them overcome the consequences of Typhoon Kalmaegi, the 13th storm entering the East Sea/South China Sea so far this year.

The central city of Hue has so far received over 329 billion VND (over 12.5 million USD) from the central budget, the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF)'s agencies, and other localities to support flood recovery efforts, according to the municipal Civil Defence Command.
