Politburo Member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang received outgoing French Ambassador to Viet Nam Olivier Brochet in Ha Noi on August 25.

The bill was presented by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs at Council of Ministers meeting on July 27 before being forwarded to the Parliament for consideration.
