Throughout the long history of nation building and national defence, the traditions of “when drinking water, remember its source” and “repaying gratitude” have become the spiritual wellspring of the Vietnamese nation, nurturing the country's resilience, determination, and aspiration for progress.

In these historic July days, as the nation looks towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, the Ha Noi Police have been urgently and synchronously carrying out a peak campaign to collect DNA samples from relatives of martyrs whose identities have not yet been established.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the entire political system and the community, tens of thousands of sturdy new houses have been built or renovated under the campaign to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated homes for those who contributed to the revolution.
