Party General Secretary and State President To Lam on June 16 encouraged the press to continue accompanying the country’s priority tasks through constructive reporting that accurately identifies problems, analyses causes and proposes appropriate solutions. The top leader made the remarks at a meeting with 101 outstanding journalists who have won National Press Awards over the years, held ahead of the 101st anniversary of Viet Nam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – 2026).

The World Journalists Conference 2026, which was held in the Republic of Korea (RoK) from March 29 to April 3, gathered nearly 50 journalists from 30 countries and territories around the world.

A delegation of the Viet Nam People’s Army Newspaper, led by its Editor-in-Chief Major General Doan Xuan Bo, paid a working visit to Cuba from September 12–20 to strengthen cooperation and share professional experience with local media organisations.

State President Luong Cuong chaired a meeting in Ha Noi on June 20 to honour 150 veteran and outstanding journalists nationwide, a day before the 100th anniversary of the Viet Nam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - 2025).

Working Delegation No. 25, including 100 leaders and journalists from press agencies across the country, paid a visit to officers, soldiers, and people on Truong Sa Archipelago and the DK1 platform from May 23 to 29.
