Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc on September 12 inspected several major transport projects in the Mekong Delta, focusing on the progress of the Can Tho-Ca Mau, Chau Doc-Can Tho-Soc Trang and Ca Mau-Dat Mui expressways.

During the 2026 New Year holiday, the working atmosphere at construction sites of key transport projects has remained urgent and continuous. Thousands of officials and workers are making concerted efforts and are determined to ensure the progress of strategic infrastructure projects.

With the completion and operation of key national transport projects connecting regions and removing infrastructure bottlenecks, targeted investment attraction for the Dinh An Economic Zone could enable Vinh Long Province to become a hub for the maritime economy and clean energy in the Mekong Delta.
