National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man, accompanied by a delegation from the legislature and authorities of Mekong Delta city of Can Tho, on February 13 paid a pre-Lunar New Year (Tet) visit to the Party Committee and High Command of Military Region 9.

A delegation from the Development Department under Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defence, led by its Director Lt. Gen. Ouk Hoeunpisey, paid a Lunar New Year visit to officers and soldiers of the armed forces under Viet Nam’s Military Region 9 on February 4.

Party General Secretary To Lam has demanded Military Region 9 to build revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern forces, with a strong political foundation, enhanced training quality and combat proficiency, mastery of modern weapons, and absolute readiness to fight and win in all conditions, every situation, and amid new forms of warfare.
