Following administrative restructuring, Da Nang City has, for the first time, organised an exhibition of 19 national treasures, offering the public a panoramic view of the national treasures currently preserved within the city.

The Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture opened the special exhibition “National Treasures – Heritage in the Heart of Da Nang” on November 19, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2005 –2025). This is the first time that 19 national treasures have been presented in full information and images in the new Da Nang City.

The preparation of the nomination dossier for the Oc Eo–Ba The Archaeological Site to be submitted to UNESCO for inscription as a World Heritage Site has been identified by the Party Committee, government, and people of An Giang Province as a highly important political task. This aims to preserve and promote the value of Oc Eo cultural heritage, a significant historical and cultural asset of Viet Nam and the world.
