Shutting down 2G is not a new challenge, however, many countries are still struggling to phase out this old technology without cutting millions of users off from connectivity. Against this backdrop, Viet Nam’s transition is showing positive signs: technology can be upgraded more effectively when the challenges of devices, coverage, and users are addressed simultaneously.
