Transport operators ready to meet surge in passenger demand during holiday

A survey at several bus stations, railway stations and airports showed that passenger travel for holidays and trips home was expected to increase during the five-day National Day holiday. However, there are no signs of overcrowding or localised congestion. Railway stations, bus stations and transport operators across road, rail and air transport have assessed and forecast developments in advance, drawn up detailed plans, and mobilised vehicles and other resources to meet people’s travel demands.
