Poland’s provision of seven tonnes of relief supplies to Viet Nam to support post-flood recovery represents a noble gesture by the Polish Government and people, reflecting strong humanitarian values and the enduring, faithful traditional friendship between the two countries and their peoples.

The central city of Hue has so far received over 329 billion VND (over 12.5 million USD) from the central budget, the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF)'s agencies, and other localities to support flood recovery efforts, according to the municipal Civil Defence Command.

Party General Secretary To Lam urged the central city of Hue to expedite post-flood recovery efforts, aiming to swiftly return students to school and restore normalcy for residents, during a working trip on November 2.

The northern provinces of Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son, and Bac Ninh will receive an additional 400 billion VND (15.18 million USD) in emergency relief from the 2025 central budget reserve to address the damage caused by torrential rains and flooding in the aftermath of Storm Matmo.
