In 2025, Viet Nam’s renewal and national development recorded comprehensive achievements, with law-making and law enforcement making a significant contribution. Constitutional amendments, the continued improvement of the legal system, and the restructuring of the State apparatus have provided a solid legal foundation for a new phase of development.

An exhibition entitled “The nation’s socio-economic achievements after 40 years of Doi Moi (Renewal), especially the 2021–2025 period” will take place at the National Convention Centre in Ha Noi on December 26-27.

The 14th plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee from November 5 – 6 completed its agenda with high consensus and good outcomes, serving as an important preparation for the 14th Party Congress and reaffirming the Party’s commitment to ongoing renewal and strengthening of the political system, providing a solid foundation for national development in the new period.

The 12th National Party Congress took place from January 20–28 in the capital city of Ha Noi, with 1,510 delegates representing more than 4.5 million Party members nationwide.

The 10th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam — the congress of wisdom, renewal, solidarity, and sustainable development — was held in Ha Noi from April 18 to 25, 2006, with 1,176 delegates representing more than 3.1 million Party members nationwide.
