Exhibition to feature nation’s development milestones over 40 years of renewal

An exhibition entitled “The nation’s socio-economic achievements after 40 years of Doi Moi (Renewal), especially the 2021–2025 period” will take place at the National Convention Centre in Ha Noi on December 26-27.

According to the plan, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Viet Nam News Agency, will organise the exhibition. The event will present an overview of outstanding socio-economic achievements by various ministries and sectors over 40 years of national renewal, with particular emphasis on the 2021–2025 period.

The exhibition will serve as a highlight within the framework of the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress in 2025, contributing to the commendation and honouring of heroic individuals and collectives, national exemplary emulation role models, outstanding individuals, and exemplary and outstanding models within patriotic emulation movements at all levels and across all sectors, especially in national defence, security, science and technology, and socio-cultural fields.

The exhibition marks a highlight within the framework of the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress in 2025.

The exhibition aims to promote patriotic emulation movements, generate strong momentum, inspire patriotism, unity, renewal and creativity, enhance labour productivity and work efficiency, and contribute to the successful implementation of the country’s socio-economic development tasks and the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.

The exhibition comprises seven thematic display areas. The display area from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism introduces the sector’s achievements over 40 years of renewal and development across fields such as cultural heritage; grassroots culture, family and libraries; ethnic culture; cinema; sports; tourism; fine arts, photography and exhibitions; journalism and communications; publishing, printing and distribution; as well as cultural diplomacy and international integration.

The pavilion from the Ministry of National Defence showcases the outstanding achievements of the Viet Nam People’s Army in the cause of national construction and defence, along with results in building and developing a proactive, self-reliant, self-sufficient, dual-use and modern defence industry. It also highlights the close integration between economic development and national defence.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance will introduces the sector’s achievements after 40 years of renewal through a system of photographs, slides and illustrative charts.

The display area of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will be rearranged under the theme “Vietnamese Agriculture and Environment – Upholding Tradition, Shaping a Green Future”.

The Ministry of Science and Technology area presents achievements in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation over 40 years of renewal, with particular emphasis on outstanding results from the past five years.

The Vietnam News Agency will also features a photo exhibition on the theme “President Ho Chi Minh and Patriotic Emulation Movements”, the National Patriotic Emulation Congresses, and prominent patriotic emulation movements.

Corporates including TH Group, ThaiBinh Seed Group and BRG Group will also introduce visitors to their signature products.

The display areas will be organised through an integrated combination of photographs, artefacts, models, documentary films, graphics and digital technologies, ensuring a modern, vivid and engaging presentation. The exhibition space is designed with an open layout, harmonious lighting and colour schemes, ensuring consistency and aesthetic coherence with the overall conference venue.
