The General Staff of the Viet Nam People’s Army held a meeting of the organising board for the Viet Nam International Defence Expo 2026 in Ha Noi on September 17.

The materials include a reproduction of the front page of the August 24, 1945 issue of Cuu Quoc (National Salvation) Newspaper, its first publicly printed edition after previously being secretly circulated in handwritten form, featuring the Vietnamese national flag; and documents and reports on Nguyen Ai Quoc's activities related to the establishment and orientation of the Communist Party of Annam.

From September 5 to 10, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports is coordinating with the UNESCO Office in Viet Nam, the Viet Nam Cinema Promotion Association (VFDA) and BHD Company to hold a series of cultural and cinematic activities titled “Golden Imprints — Pieces of Vietnamese culture in the 10th century” together with the film “The Guardian Warriors: Mystery of King Dinh's Tomb”.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and President To Lam, and other Party and State leaders on September 3 visited an exhibition themed “Simple yet noble examples” that was held on the sidelines of a nationwide conference to study, disseminate and implement several resolutions and directives of the Political Bureau.

An exhibition about heritage of scholar Le Quy Don will be staged from July 29 to August 3, 2026, at the Memorial Site of scholar Le Quy Don in Hung Yen Province to commemorate the 300th birth anniversary of the scholar (1726–2026).

The exhibition "Temple of Literature in art" officially opened on the afternoon of July 5, featuring works by artists from across the country. The event is part of a series of activities marking the 950th anniversary of the establishment of Temple of Literature (1076–2026), the first university in Viet Nam.

On June 26, the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, in coordination with the Embassy of Viet Nam in France and the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in France, presented a collection of representative documents and photographs highlighting the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace in the city of Montreuil.

To mark the 101st anniversary of Viet Nam Revolutionary Press Day, Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper is organising an exhibition on “Illustrations in Newspapers”, featuring 23 painters and around 90 original works that have appeared as illustrations in Nhan Dan Newspaper and other newspapers and magazines.

As part of the Hue Festival, three French photographers — Daniel Roussel, Gilbert Bertrand, and Lily Franey — will present a photography exhibition on the land and people of Viet Nam entitled Viet Nam's Intersection at the University of Education, Hue University (32–36 Le Loi Street, Hue).

The Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade opened the exhibition “Made in Da Nang Expo 2026” on April 16 to display outstanding and distinctive exported-oriented products.

An exhibition themed “Sowing green on the cloud peaks”, which is organised by the Viet Nam Women’s Museum in collaboration with the University of Hull, Loughborough University, and the Institute of Natural Resources and Environment under the Viet Nam National University, Ha Noi, officially opened on March 27.

Towards the commemoration of the 115th anniversary of the birth of General Vo Nguyen Giap (August 25, 1911–August 25, 2026), on March 23, at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Quang Tri province organised the thematic exhibition “General Vo Nguyen Giap – Life and Career”.

An exhibition by French-Vietnamese painter Lien Pham opened in Paris on March 13, showcasing a unique artistic approach that explores personal identity and cultural connections through experimental techniques.

The opening ceremony of the documentary exhibition themed “Communist Party of Viet Nam through its Congresses” took place in Ha Noi on January 26. This is an activity celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress.

Amid the atmosphere of welcoming the new spring, the exhibition “Tet Flowers – Rural Colours” by painter Quynh Thom will take place from January 31 to February 9 at the Exhibition House at 16 Ngo Quyen (Ha Noi), introducing to the public 68 highly emotive paintings.
