Today, the 9th National Congress of the Viet Nam Farmers’ Union for the 2026–2031 tenure is solemnly taking place in Ha Noi. As the country enters a new era, with the entire Party, people and armed forces actively implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and resolutions of the Politburo, the congress marks an important event in the nation’s political life.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long has signed a decision approving a programme on comprehensive reform and improvement of vocational training quality for rural workers by 2030.

As agriculture faces the imperative of establishing a new growth model, the Politburo has issued Conclusion No. 219-KL/TW on continuing the implementation of Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022 of the 13th Party Central Committee on agriculture, farmers and rural areas through to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

The seventh National Farmers’ Forum, themed “Professional Farmers” was held in Hanoi on September 12 by the Vietnam Farmers’ Union (VFU) Central Committee and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
