With the goal of completing the excavation and DNA sampling of all fallen soldiers’ remains across the province by September 30, 2026, officers and soldiers of the Dien Bien Provincial Military Command, together with DNA sampling teams, are working with determination to overcome every challenge and fulfil the objectives of the campaign.

Under the scorching sun and sudden downpours of Ho Chi Minh City, members of the teams searching for and recovering fallen soldiers’ remains continue to work tirelessly on site, painstakingly removing layer after layer of soil and carefully recovering the remains of martyrs buried three metres beneath the ground.

The excavation and DNA sampling of fallen soldiers’ remains for forensic analysis across Can Tho are being carried out intensively by the relevant authorities with a strong sense of urgency and determination to complete the mission in line with the established plan.

In commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, K Hospital, in collaboration with the Bright Tomorrow Patient Support Fund, organised a meeting to visit, present gifts to, and express gratitude to patients and healthcare workers who are war invalids, sick soldiers, and family members of martyrs.

Amid the lively emulation atmosphere as the whole country looks towards the 14th National Party Congress, officers and soldiers of the Viet Nam Coast Guard from the mainland to ships on duty at sea continue to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, maintaining a high state of combat readiness to ensure they are not caught off guard by any situation at sea.

An art programme, themed “Soldiers and Silk”, was held at the campus of the Military Zone 7 in Ho Chi Minh City, as part of the activities marking the 78th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 – 2022).
