A total of 106 patients who are war invalids, sick soldiers, and family members of martyrs currently receiving treatment at K Hospital's three campuses, together with seven healthcare workers, received gifts of encouragement on this occasion.
According to Professor Dr Le Van Quang, Director of K Hospital, over the years the hospital has consistently attached importance to activities honouring those who have rendered distinguished service to the nation through practical initiatives such as caring for and visiting doctors, nurses, healthcare workers and patients who are war invalids or family members of martyrs; organising activities to educate staff about the nation's revolutionary traditions; and encouraging the families of war invalids and martyrs to continue striving forward in the new era.
The occasion also serves to educate the younger generation, as well as the hospital's doctors, nurses and healthcare workers, about the patriotism and indomitable heroism of previous generations, while fostering the Vietnamese tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source."
These activities reflect the profound gratitude of the hospital's leadership and the entire team of doctors, nurses and healthcare workers for the sacrifices and losses endured by those who devoted themselves to the nation's peace, independence and freedom. They are not only a noble gesture but also a reminder of Vietnam's enduring traditions of remembering those who have contributed to the nation and repaying gratitude, providing a meaningful lesson for today's younger generation of doctors.
