The event was organised by Gloex and Informa Markets, with support from the Ministry of Health and the participation of the Viet Nam Pharmaceutical Companies Association, the Private Hospital Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Medical Equipment Association.
Pharmedi Viet Nam 2026 takes place from September 22 to 24, bringing together more than 600 brands from over 20 countries and territories to display products across 12,000sq.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about new technologies and solutions, attend specialised seminars and connect with domestic and international businesses and partners.

Within the framework of the exhibition, seminars will also be held, with international and regional experts discussing topics related to healthcare sector growth, investment, artificial intelligence, hospital management, leadership roles and the building of a safer healthcare system.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen said the Party and State always pay special attention to and give priority to the protection, care and improvement of people’s health. Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee sets the goal of developing Vietnamese medicine that is scientific, national and people-oriented, and building a fair, high-quality, effective and internationally integrated healthcare system.
In addition, Politburo Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW affirms the important role of the private economy as an important driver of the economy, in which healthcare, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment are areas with great potential that need to be encouraged to develop, innovate and integrate internationally.
Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW on continuing to improve institutions and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the new period has created an important foundation for the healthcare sector to accelerate administrative reform, improve mechanisms and policies, and create a transparent and favourable environment for production and business activities in pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and healthcare services.
Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen highly valued the importance of private healthcare in realising the major policies of the Party and State. Private healthcare is an inseparable part of Viet Nam’s healthcare sector and undertakes a breakthrough role in helping the sector develop.
Commenting on Pharmedi Viet Nam 2026, Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen said: “With the support of management agencies, scientists, hospitals, associations and the domestic and international business community, Pharmedi Viet Nam 2026 will continue to promote its role as a bridge between science, technology and practice in healthcare, contributing to promoting innovation, improving the quality of healthcare services, and moving towards the highest goal of protecting, caring for and improving people’s health.”
