Viet Nam’s university startup ecosystem is receiving a major boost with the launch of UniVentures, a regional innovation programme initiated by BLOCK71 of the National University of Singapore (NUS) in collaboration with Temasek Foundation, and supported by the National Innovation Centre (NIC), Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Golden Gate Ventures, Singapore Global Network, Google Cloud, IBM and Reactor School.

Viet Nam is a dynamic economy with high potential for profit, so it continues to be an attractive destination for investment capital, especially from venture capital funds. Currently, there is no separate law for venture capital activities, the legal environment is still unclear, increasing risks for both investors and startups.

In the context of an accelerating digital transformation, innovative startups have become a key driving force behind socio-economic development in Binh Dinh. These startups are not merely focused on technological advancements; they also contribute to building ecosystems, linking resources, and generating widespread impact across multiple sectors.

Lianhe Zaobao newspaper in Hong Kong (China) has run an article analysing Vietnam’s advantages that make the country the third pillar of the "golden triangle of startups" in Southeast Asia, together with Indonesia and Singapore.

The Vietnam Blockchain Summit 2022 will take place in Hanoi on October 19-20.
