Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung chaired a meeting with ministries and agencies on the implementation of tasks related to strategic technology development at the Government Office on October 20.

Three strategic technology products, including AI cameras, autonomous mobile robots, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), are expected to produce initial commercial results as early as 2026, announced by Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong at the Government's June regular press conference on July 4.

Science, technology, and innovation are recognised as the key drivers of Viet Nam’s new growth model. The challenge is no longer simply conducting more research, but producing technology products with real-world application and measurable impact.
