The first session of the 16th National Assembly (NA) officially convened, marking the beginning of a new term filled with expectations. On the sidelines of the opening session, NA deputies expressed strong commitment and high expectations regarding personnel work, institutional reform, and socio-economic development orientations for the 2026–2031 term.

The first session of the 16th National Assembly (NA), which is set to officially convene early this week, will be the first sitting following the success of the second Plenum of the 14th Party Central Committee and the election of deputies to the 16th NA and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
