The 16th National Assembly (NA) on April 23 continued the agenda for its first session, holding a plenary discussion on the draft Law on amendments and supplements to four key tax laws, including the Law on Personal Income Tax, Value-Added Tax, Corporate Income Tax, and Special Consumption Tax.

Continuing the agenda of the first session of the 16th National Assembly, legislators on the morning of April 23 discussed in plenary a draft law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the laws on Personal Income Tax, Value-Added Tax, Corporate Income Tax, and Special Consumption Tax.

A total of 462 out of 466 deputies present voted in favour, equivalent to 99.14%.

The National Assembly on April 12 adopted a resolution introducing key provisions on environmental protection tax, value-added tax and excise tax applicable to petrol, oil and aviation fuel.

The National Assembly on December 9 discussed in plenary a draft law on amendments and supplementations to some articles of the Law on Value-Added Tax (VAT), with a strong focus on clearing bottlenecks in tax refund procedures and refining tax policies for agricultural products and by-products.

Continuing the agenda of the ongoing 9th session, the National Assembly (NA) on June 17 is set to vote on a law amending and supplementing some articles of the Law on Enterprises and a resolution on the reduction of value-added tax (VAT).
