Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has requested that new housing and resettlement be provided for households whose homes were swept away, completely collapsed, or severely damaged by floods in the central region before January 31, 2026, according to his recently-signed urgent dispatch.

Samsung Viet Nam on October 14 donated 10 billion VND (over 379,000 USD) to help residents in flood-hit provinces overcome the consequences of recent storms, responding to the appeal of the Presidium of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee.
