As part of the State visit to Australia by General Secretary and President To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, held talks with Australian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Richard Marles in Canberra on the morning of August 12 (local time).
