Thailand win Asian women's volleyball club championships

Nhan Dan - The Thai team came in first at the 2011 Asian Women's Volleyball Club Championships which concluded in the northern province of Vinh Phuc on June 25 after ten days of competition.

China ranked second, followed by Kazakhstan and Vietnam.

The championship drew eight teams from China, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The teams were divided into two groups and competed in a round robin tournament to select the top two teams to play in the final match.
