The Central Committee of the Viet Nam Red Cross Society on October 13 received 13 billion VND (first phase) in support of the Cuban people from cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces and people of the central province of Thanh Hoa.
With a proactive, responsible spirit and a compassionate heart, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society has promptly advised the Party Committee and administration, mobilised the strength of the entire political system, the business community and the people to respond, voluntarily support, and contribute to helping the Cuban people overcome difficulties after the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, catastrophes, especially the prolonged embargo.
Accordingly, Thanh Hoa has mobilised more than 13 billion VND to support the Cuban people.
Vice President and General Secretary of the Viet Nam Red Cross Society Nguyen Hai Anh acknowledged the achievements that demonstrate the identity and deep, warm affection of the land and people of Thanh Hoa with Cuban people.
