Tien Minh back ‘at the top’ of his game

Nhan Dan Online – Nguyen Tien Minh has staged a remarkable comeback to regain a fifth place BWF world rankings just five days after smashing his way to the men’s singles bronze medal at the 2013 World Badminton Championships in Guangzhou, China.

The landmark success earned Minh an additional 4,550 bonus points and helped him regain his career’s best world ranking for the second time, which clearly evidences that, after a two year layoff, the nation's brightest badminton star is back in form and ‘at the top of his game’.

Tien Minh is currently playing for the Pune Vijetas club in the US$1 million Indian Badminton League taking place from August 14-31. He has been paid US$44,000 for his two-week contribution
