Lasting until August 20, the class includes 50 students, who are key officials at central agencies and centrally-governed cities and provinces.
During that time, the officials will be provided with knowledge on 33 key topics concerning the country in the current period.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Politburo member and permanent member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong noted that the training class is intended to enhance the capacity and quality of strategic cadres.
He asked the students to strive their best to complete the training programme effectively.
