Themed “Harnessing and leveraging data: shaping the future of the banking industry in the digital age”, the event provided a comprehensive picture of digital banking strategies and solutions, as well as technologies to shape the banking industry and develop data-based banking.
Within the framework of Smart Banking 2023, an exercise programme named DF Cyber Defense 2023 was organised, which was the largest annual event on preventing and combating cyber attacks in the banking and finance sector in Vietnam.
Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Banks Association Council Tran Van Tan said that data is currently a valuable asset for banks. The use of digital data in the banking industry will help improve business decisions, enhance performance and provide a better customer experience.
In parallel with the main session and thematic seminars, a finance and banking technology exhibition took place, with the participation of more than 30 leading information technology solution providers.
Outstanding solutions were introduced in the exhibition, including core banking, API banking, digital payments and e-wallets, contact and contactless payments, mobile payment systems, data centre security, fraud management, and identity and access management systems.
