VCCI asks overseas Vietnamese representatives to support enterprises in international integration

The VCCI President requested a meeting with heads of Vietnamese representative missions abroad and businesses held by the VCCI on April 12.

Cong expressed his hope that the Vietnamese representative agencies will act as a bridge to connect and introduce potential partners to Vietnamese enterprises, to expand the market, deal with international economic disputes, and protect intellectual property rights and technology transfer abroad.

VCCI said that the domestic business community wishes to approach and connect with businesses wishing to invest in Vietnam, especially in the fields of industrial production, renewable energy, and high-technology agriculture.

“Increasing economic integration and the participation of Vietnamese businesses in the global economy will achieve the expected results with the support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors and heads of Vietnamese representative agencies,” Cong emphasised.

Deputy Foreign Minister Pham Quang Hieu said, that the delegation of heads of Vietnamese representative missions abroad in the 2023-2026 term, includes 16 officials in Southeast Asia, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors and heads of representative missions are well aware of their responsibilities and roles, and wish to make further contributions to the development of the country and businesses, Deputy Minister Pham Quang Hieu noted.
