Under the theme “Industry Converges – Technology Connects – Future Rises,” the exhibition brings together almost 750 booths from leading enterprises in Viet Nam and countries including the US, Germany, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the UK, France, Austria, Switzerland, and China.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ly Hoa Lien, Deputy General Director of the Viet Nam Exhibition and Fair Centre JSC, stated that this is the first time the five largest industry-technology exhibitions have converged within a world-class exhibition space, creating a strategic platform for trade promotion and connection of knowledge, technology, and the business community.
The event features a high level of technological demonstration, including directly operated production lines, smart manufacturing solutions, customised control software, integrated machine-tool systems, and electrical and lighting technologies. It also embraces trends of energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, and smart applications for living spaces.
At the ceremony, Nguyen Quan, Chairman of the Viet Nam Automation Association, noted that in the context of the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution, automation and technological transformation are not only inevitable trends but also key drivers for sustainable growth.
The Party and State of Viet Nam are implementing numerous policies to promote science and technology development as well as enhance the productivity, quality and competitiveness of the national economy. Viet Nam Industry and Technology Week 2025 is a concrete manifestation of that spirit — a venue where intelligence, creativity, and the innovation aspirations of Vietnamese enterprises converge in the technological era.
According to the organisers, more than 20 activities will be held throughout the exhibition week, including seminars, workshops, and in-depth forums, – such as a series on modern railway technology and Viet Nam’s infrastructure supply chain, a high-level forum focusing on Industry 4.0 and digital innovation in the machine-tool sector, and a workshop on “The Journey of Sustainable Coffee Production by Vietnamese Women.” These activities aim to inspire ideas and promote initiatives for national industrial development.
Within the framework of the week, VEC will operate a Business Matching area — an intelligent trade-promotion hub that assists suppliers and buyers in scheduling appointments, exchanging cooperation opportunities, and conducting one-on-one negotiations. This will serve as a platform for building long-term strategic partnerships and fostering high-value business contracts in the future.
