This meaningful activity was aimed at students of Banpa Primary School, one of only four schools still maintaining educational activities in the Bentiu area of South Sudan. The school has over 2,200 students but only 11 classrooms, which are temporary structures made of corrugated iron and wood. These rooms have no doors, no fans, and insufficient lighting for teaching and learning.
Accordingly, Viet Nam’s Level 2 Field Hospital No. 6 presented 250 gifts to outstanding students of Banpa Primary School; at the same time, the school received a number of essential items, including blackboards, pens, notebooks, and more.
In addition, given the complicated developments of a local cholera outbreak, the hospital’s delegation also provided the school with hand sanitiser and soap and conducted a hygiene and disease prevention session for both teachers and students.
