Having run from mid-July to the end of August, the contest “Designed by Vietnam” received 183 designs. The jury selected the top 30 designs for the finals, including 25 in five main areas along with five souvenir products on the Temple of Literature.
The first prize went to the design named “N.A.M” by Vu Ta Linh from Hanoi. One second, one third, five consolation and a number of minor prizes were presented to other outstanding works.
In the category of designs for souvenir products on the Temple of Literature, the first prize was presented to the product named “Khu hoi” ("Round-trip) by Luu Nhu Ngoc from Ho Chi Minh City.

The 2021 Vietnam Design Week, themed “Awakening Traditions”, took place from November 27 to December 3, aiming to encourage a change of thinking in exploiting and renewing traditional values and promoting sustainable design trends.
The programme was jointly held by Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi Municipal Department of Culture and Sports, and the Centre for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature, along with many other partners and sponsors.
