Deputy Minister of Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Dang Van Hieu, on January 6 received Israel’s Director of Security of the Defense Establishment, Amir Kain, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.
Deputy Minister Hieu spoke highly of Amir Kain’s visit and said that the event would be an important milestone in strengthening co-operation between the two countries in the field of security and defence, thus contributing to deepening Vietnam-Israel friendly and co-operative relations.
Hieu stressed that co-operation over the years between the two nations in general, as well as between Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and relevant Israeli authorities in particular, has recorded positive developments. The collaboration has been increasingly expanded in all aspects, in accordance with the motto that leaders of the two countries have set out, especially in experience sharing and staff capacity building.
For his part, Amir Kain expressed his appreciation for the reception from Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security to the Israeli delegation.
He said he wished that the relationship between the two parties in the future would see positive results particularly in the areas of security and defence co-operation, contributing to maintaining national security, and social order and safety in each country.
